The vegetables and fresh herbs that we use come directly from our gardens which are located 30 minutes from Luang Prabang. Our plantings are seasonal and we use neither pesticides nor fertilisers. Our aim above all is to obtain fresh high quality ingredients which are indispensable to tasty cooking, but we also want to offer our clients healthy products which come from the almost totally intact natural Lao environment.
As well as the planting needed for L'Eléphant restaurant, our gardens also produce the herbs and flowers sold in “Aux jardins de l’éléphant”.
